Actor Zac Efron will be portraying serial killer Ted Bundy in the new biography crime thriller titled Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. The film will come out sometime in 2019 and follows the crimes of Bundy. The point of view of the film is being told by Bundy’s longtime girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer who was in denial about Bundy for years. Other actors include Lily Collins, John Malkovich, Dylan Baker, and Jim Parsons. This film is already in post-production, but a trailer hasn’t been released yet.
Bundy was a serial killer, necrophiliac, and rapist that committed several crimes during the 1970s. Bundy himself admitted to killing 36 women over several states but experts who looked into the case say the numbers are in the hundreds and up. Bundy himself has inspired many crime novel and film characters throughout the years as well. Bundy was known for being charming and innocent looking to his victims whom he tricked towards his vehicle by faking a broken arm and asking for their help. Bundy was eventually caught and executed by electric chair in 1989 and people were so happy that they celebrated his execution outside the Florida State Prison by cheering and setting off fireworks.
