There are a few shows on Netflix that I believe will absolutely never get old. At the top of my list, is Friends, even before Netflix I would watch reruns of the show whenever they aired. Friends is a show that can always make you at least chuckle, if not laugh when needed. I'd like to suggest a few episodes that feature some moments that are comedic gold. So to start my list off, here's the theme song of Friends, record by The Rembrandts.
The first episode on the list is episode 16 of season 5, The One With the Cop. The episode first follows Joey (Matt LeBlanc) as he begins to believe he's in love with Monica (Courtney Cox) after he sees her and Chandler (Matthew Perry) being lovey dovey. This is funny because Joey begins to try to avoid Monica and makes thing a little awkward. Then Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) finds a police badge and begins to use flash it all over town until she actually meets the owner of it. The final story line that begins is between Ross (David Schwimmer) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) as they purchase a couch and decide to deliver it themselves. The scene between them as they try to get the couch up a flight of stairs is the most hilarious moment ever. You have to see it to know.
Next on the list is episode 7 from season 4, The One Where Chandler Crosses The Line. The only reason this episode is on my list is because Ross and his keyboard skills. After he helped Phoebe write a song, he started to think he was a musician again. Although Ross and Phoebe believed his music was considered art, everyone else thinks it's trash. What do you think?
The last episode that had one of the best comedy scenes was episode 9 of season 5, The One With Ross' Sandwich. In the midst of everyone finding out about Monica and Chandler's secret relationship, Ross begins to have a melt down. As Ross begins the stage of his divorce from Emily (Helen Baxendale) and being evicted from his apart, he begins to experience some problems with his rage. He finally snaps when one of his co-workers decides to eat his leftover Thanksgiving sandwich. The scene and really everything leading up to it is just comedy greatness.
A lot of people continue to miss out on some good laughs when they don't watch Friends. I hope this post holds as proof that the show is funny and if not that much I hope it at least makes those who haven't watched it, consider.
