What’s up Femm Famm! Welcome to Fashion Entertainment Magazine. Most may be fond of a production that gets straight to the point, but what’s the fun in that? Before we get to the bulk of the story, I should lightly announce my presence. My name is Kizzie Nichole Frank (yes like the girl from Roots) and I am coming to you as Editor for Arts & Entertainment. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Music, films, and books, were common household conversations when I was a child and it has stuck with me into adulthood.
I attended Sam Houston State University and worked as a reporter and Arts and Entertainment editor at an independent newspaper. I have graduated since then, but all the work I have done between that time mostly revolves around, you guessed it, Arts & Entertainment. I believe the topic is essential to our culture today. Sure, memes have a great deal to do with that as well, but the meat of culture comes from everything creative. Film, music, and literature would be at the top of that list. Let's be honest about it: Lion King taught many of us about death and betrayal. Harry Potter inspired people to STILL have actual quidditch clubs, and Black Panther has people meme'ing #Wakanda to death.
My goal is to pick your brains on the small things about arts and entertainment. I am interested in the hidden meanings, the references, the shots, and glimpses into the lives of talent in every aspect of entertainment.
I love just about every genre of film, but suspense/horror is my favorite. Music biopics come second. Call me childish, but Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks are always on my radar. They provide me with light heartedness after a provocative thriller so no judging.
Either way, I am super excited to begin this journey sharing my reviews with you guys. Thank you for visiting Femm!
