Actor Tom Hiddleston is going to be in a new stage production this March 2019. The play is called Betrayal by Harold Pinter. This play will be held at the London’s Harold Pinter Theater for 12 weeks in March starting on the 5th. The plot of the play focuses on a seven-year romance that is told in reverse chronological order. This play is one of many this season with all of Pinter’s plays being held at Pinter theater; hence the season’s title Pinter at the Pinter.
Tickets will go on sale November 30th at 9 am, however, before you rush to buy these tickets you should know that previous Jamie Lloyd Company ticket bookers, Ambassador Theater Group Theater Card members and Pinter at the Pinter ticket holders are given the tickets first before anyone else and their sale begins on the 29th at 9 am. Hiddleston actually started his acting career on the stage and got his big break when he worked with actor Kenneth Branagh during a stage production of Othello. Hiddleston knew that Branagh would be directing the new Marvel film Thor and jokingly said that he could play Thor but Branagh said it was a good idea for him to audition. Now, of course, he didn’t score the role of Thor, but he did become the famous trickster Loki and thus his career launched forward. Hiddleston has always enjoyed acting on stage and is glad when he can get back to the theater.
