One of the most exciting movies to be released this year is Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One, adapted from Ernest Cline’s novel of the same name, has seemed to decrees the interest of many viewers. With hopes of earning $50 million the first weekend, it is only projected it will make a bit more than $35 million. Why so low? Maybe it has to do with their lack of marketing since it’s been announced. I personally haven’t seen any ads for his movie, and only knew it was being released thanks to my biology teacher.
Lucky for Warner Brothers Studios who is producing the movie, there is still three weeks’ time in order jump opening weekend numbers by $15 million to reach their goal.
