What better way to kick the summer off then by attending a music festival. The month of June is packed full of many art and music festivals all around the United States. To kick the month off right, The Governors Ball annual music festival will be begin June 1st and will highlight many great visual and musical artist. The festival will also feature a lot of cool activities and tents. If you’re looking for a great spontaneous trip, you may want to New York City for The Governors Ball.
The festival will be held at Randall's Park in New York City and will feature over 60 music artist performing during the 3 day festival. They will also have over 20 activities tents for you to check out, enjoy, and get involved with. They will also also feature some art from 12 unique artist who have some serious talent. Artist like Key Detail, a Belarusian artist who have a focus in paintings, drawings, and illustrations. Or artist TomBob who has been in the art game for many years and was even featured in the 2009 book Art for Obama. Even balloon artist like Katie Balloons will be feature in the festival
As far as the performances, there will never be a dull moment. The festival will feature a lot of big names in the music game right now and a lot of fan favorites. From start to finish the line up for the festival is pretty great. A few of the artist that will hit the stage that Friday are: Post Malone, Goldlink, and will feature Jack White as the headliner. Saturday will have some major talent hitting the stage as well like Halsey, 2 Chainz, and will have Travis Scott headlining. To wrap up the festivals performances Sunday will be artist such as Khalid, Animé, Lil Uzi Vert, and Eminem will be the headliner.
Tickets are selling fast for the festival and I definitely understand why. If you don’t have time to make this last minute trip, no worries there’s plenty more festivals coming. Just be sure to make the most of your summer and get tickets to one of these great outdoor festivals.
