Ten years after their last album came out the band The Cure has a new album that will be coming out soon. The head of the band Robert Smith was recently on the John Maytham Show where he confirmed that he and the band are working on the sequel album to their 4:13_Dream album. Smith also reported that he and his band are excited about their new album. Even though they’re not finished with the album, yet they will be working together to get it done in the next six months. This news also adds to the hype of the band’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The group will also be performing at some major festivals like Glastonbury and Fuji Rock while also having an anniversary show titled “Disintegration.” It’s not known at this time if the album will premier before after their shows. More information on their shows and where they’ll be headed can be seen here. The band is sure to have an exciting year ahead of them with their new album, shows, and Hall of Fame induction. Congratulations to your new album and being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
