Big Bang Theory has always been an iconic show since it aired back in 2007. And now its status has reached an even higher level with the stage of the show earning a historic dedication spot on the WB lot. The 12th season is the final season for the show and during a rehearsal, for episode #1271 the set opened its doors for the first time to media groups during the TCA press tour. Stage 25 on the Warner Brother’s lot in Burbank, California was dedicated to the show and having a stage dedicated to a show is a huge deal. Big Bang is only the 5th show to receive such an honor in the lot’s 95-year history.
The other shows to receive that honor include Ellen, Friends, Two and a Half Men, and E.R. Big Bang has been the longest running multi-camera show in TV history with 279 episodes in total. In fact, there are only 10 episodes of the show left. The 1271 episode mentioned above will air sometime in March. Most of the main characters and co-creators of the show Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady gathered together in the famous living room after the 1271 run through and had a champagne toast while the dedicated lot plaque was shown to all where everyone expressed their feelings to receiving such a high honor.
