As football fans gear up for Super Bowl LIII, companies brace for feedback on commercials to air tonight on NBC. Be rest assured the companies viewers will see flash across their screen of choice, will be companies who have shoveled out a nice piece of change.
According to Sports Illustrated, as of 2018, one 30 second commercial spot during the Super Bowl will run businesses about $5.5 million dollars. Expect to most frequently see business giants like Coco-cola and Budweiser. Super Bowl commercials have as much, if not more, influence or impact on viewers as the halftime show.

Some companies choose to go the light, comical route, others, thrive in deep rooted messages. With knowledge on how expensive air-time can be, it is a refreshing thought that a company would choose the controversial route and support the fight toward hard hitting subjects like gender equality.
