It’s the Friday after drag race so you know what that means? You get read my recap of Rupaul’s Drag race –insert music here- .
Alright let’s kick it off. After last week’s elimination of Vanessa Vanjie Mateo, we come into the work room and immediately wigs are getting snatched by the Vixen. Labeled as the “whistle blower” of the season the Vixen want to air some things out between Miz Cracker, and Aquaria. Pretty much what went down, she wanted a blow out between the two because Aquaria wasn’t too happy with Miz Cracker using the same eyebrows….because I mean eyebrows right? Well, she tries to sugar coat the story and the Vixen just went, Naw, this is what was really said. There was no real drama between the two queens minus Miz cracker stating she would never do something like that to anyone, as she wants to win with her own looks. Smart girl, smart.
Next item on the list, the mini challenge. Now this mini challenge consisted of the queens getting in 20 minute drag then having a “hay” day while dancing in front of judges Rupaul, and Andy Cohen. I have to say, this is probably the best quick drag I’ve seen on this show at this point. Once the challenge was over two winners were picked. The Vixen and Asia O’Hara.
Now why two winners, well because the maxi challenge is a team challenge. Now it’s time to pick the teams.
On Team Asia: we have Aquaria, Kalorie, Eureka, Yuha, Dusty and Monique.
On team Vixen: Kameron, Monet, Cracker, Blair, Mayhem.
So what is the challenge? Let me answer that for you right now; parmarusical, a parody production put on the queens choreographed by none other than Alyssa Edwards. This musical showcases made up medications for drag queens. From Swalloease, to a pill that shrinks a drag queens… well it’s a pill that make tucking a bit easier. We will go with that. So, both teams perform then walk down the runway in their best drag.
Now time for the tops and bottoms: The winning team was the Vixen’s as they were on top of their game, while The Vixen won the entire challenge as leader. One not to be messed with The Vixen is.
So, the bottom two came down to Kalorie and Eureka. This makes Kalorie’s second time in the bottom in two weeks. Will she be able to outperform Eureka? Unfortunately no. Kalorie Karbdashian was asked to sashay away at the end of the night, making it the second elimination I agree with this season.
All in all, I just don’t think it’s her time, but she’s an amazing queen, and I look forward to seeing what she does after the show.
