Speed/driving can be a passion of power that drives you to ‘drive’. It is intensely euphoric. Why is this? “I guess it’s like the feel of all this power in your hands and you’re going to make the best possible use of it,” Janet Guthrie says (retired race car driver). Followed behind her statement is Kyle Larson’s opinion, “…I just love sprint-car racing so much. I love racing so much. It's just a drug….
Then, there is the Internet hearsay that alleges that since inception speed has been a fascination to humans. Antedating back to prior civilization curiosity of speed and power left man to imagine with the watching of wings. Yet, man had limited power to only go so fast of what was in his sight. So, he continued to view objects that possessed great power and speed.
With his imagination he queried. Following, his thoughts brought his queries to life with creation. Century after century the faster he was able to travel with his inventions such as the vehicle (car) that led to a wonderful, phenomenal, and enjoyable experience. His fascination was now fulfilled and continues to be with more innovations and inventions to come.
So, if you are driven to drive, then do it! If you want to join the track at NASCAR, then feel free to do so. Let your passion ride. But, be safe.
