Nancy Sinatra Sr. has died at the age of 101. Nancy was Frank Sinatra’s first wife and the mother of three children. Nancy had met Sinatra in Long Branch, New Jersey in the summer of 1934. They got married five years later on February 4th, 1939 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Jersey City, New Jersey. Before Sinatra made a name for himself in the music industry Nancy and he lived in a small apartment while Nancy worked as a secretary and Sinatra worked as a singing waiter.
Together the couple had three kids Nancy, Frank Jr., and Tina. It was Nancy Jr. who followed in her father’s footsteps and had a successful career in music as well; especially with her hit song, “These Boots Are Made For Walking.” The couple went through so much together before the divorce. Before their daughter Tina was born they moved to California when Sinatra’s career skyrocketed but sadly they got divorced in 1950 after Sinatra’s affair with Ava Gardner became known to the public. Even though the couple split they still remained in a healthy relationship where Sinatra would come to visit his former wife and kids.
Nancy never remarried herself. She died Friday evening, but the time of death is unknown at this time. According to her daughter who tweeted about her passing explained that she died peacefully that evening. Nancy outlived her husband who died in 1998 and her son who died in 2016. The cause of her death and location has not yet been released
