Good Darkening, I bring you some new and upcoming movies that you totally should see if you have the time. The first movie is an adaption from the book 'Fahrenheit 451' . The book is a dystopian novel written by American writer Ray Bradbury. The story is about an alternative future America where books are illegal, and if found it is up to 'firemen' to burn the books to ash.
Despite the trailer dropping just hours ago, we don't have much information about the movie that HBO films is adapting from Bradbury's best works. What we know for sure is that Micheal B. Jorden is confirmed as the protagonist, Guy Montag and Micheal Shannon as Captain Beatty, Montag's superior.
We don't know exactly when the new dystopian triller is coming out. According to Vice the new HBO thriller should be out in May of this year. The trailer doesn't say much in the way of plot but, fo those who have read the book the excitement comes from transcribing Bradbury's work from one medium to another.
Other than that there is not much known. Such as who else will be playing the role of the mysterious Clarisse McClellan or Montag's wife Mildred.
The director, Ramin Bahrani, does promise that it will update the original book's time period of 1953 "while staying to true the Bradbury's original themes."
With Black Panther still fresh in everyone's minds and hearts it's exciting to have such a fiery summer thriller to look forward to afterwards the inferno dulls to an ember only to be reignited with this direct, forceful and fiery thriller in May.
