What is better than waking up at 6 am on Friday? Waking up at 6 am and the new Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindlewald, trailer having come out! That’s right. The first official trailer for the next chapter in Newt Scamander’s story is officially beginning. Like, what is life right now?
Okay, so if you haven’t seen the trailer yet, (y tho?) it’s posted below.
Now that you’ve been blessed with one of the best magical stories in the world, let's talk about it.
Starting out, we come across the roaring hills of Scotland, and wind up in none other than HOGWARTS!! We are going back!! (It’s time to bust out all of my AVPM references.) And it looks as if the Ministry of Magic or someone is asking about Newt. Here we are also introduced to Professor Albus Dumbledore played by Jude Law. (Awww, look at young Dumby.)The M.O.M assumes that Newt is working for Dumbledore, but what is his mission?? What is he doing?? Looking for the Deathly Hallows before Grindelwald can find them? What is going on??
Moving forward it’s as if the two sides between good and evil are being formed and they have to make a choice, who is going to fight for whom. The forgetting spell cast at the end of the first movie seems to have worn off because Dan Fogler is back portraying his role of Jacob Kowalski. It’s getting serious now!
Side note: just some thoughts real quick IS THAT EZRA MILLER??? IS THAT ZOE KRAVITZ??? Do we get to see another side of the Lestrange family?
I mean come on, after watching that trailer, I’m more intrigued than ever to see it. Though, like most second movies in a series, I’m sure it’ll be a set up for the third film. However, with that being said, I believe it will be one of the better films to set up for the remaining movies.
