2018 a great year for movies and one of the movies I’m most excited for this year is… (If you read my review on Love, Simon, You should already know.) But, for those of you who didn’t, the movie is Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The movie that I’ve been waiting three years for is finally coming to the big screen, June 22, 2018. I kind of just want to take this time to analyze/ watch the trailer for the one-millionth time and see if my predictions or plot theory relates to yours. Cool? Cool.
Let’s start with the first 30 seconds. This kind of sets up everything that has happened between the end of the first one till now. Claire and Owen have clearly broken up, which means their relationship caught fire after the first film, then fizzled out.
Next, it looks like there is a rescue mission in place to save the dinosaurs! (Seems like a good idea)? Okay, my first thoughts are its kind of following the outline of the original Lost World. I’m not mad. Continue.
T-Rex in back of a truck. How much you want to bet that it’s going to get out and wreak havoc?
Alright, so there’s a volcano blowing, I assume this is why they are there to rescue the dinosaurs. So that they don’t go extinct…Again.
That T-Rex saving Owen once again!
Can I just ask why the Pterodactyls haven’t flown off the island before now? Do they have the chip in them from the book that has not been mentioned?
Will Universal make another ride from this movie? I need to place a call real quick.
Okay, well those are my initial reactions on the trailer: So let’s break it down. A better version of Lost World. That’s it. That is my final opinion and my plot-line guess. Will it be true, will it be better than the first. We will have to wait until June 22, 2108, to find out.
(Side note: I just found out there’s another Transformers movie being released this year. I’ll let you form your own opinions on that.)
