Hey Fem readers hope your day is going great. If not, I hope my blog can at least cheer you up in some way. If your day is already going great, then this post will make it even better! This blog is for all my comedy movie and Melissa McCarthy fans. This May McCarthy will be starring in the comedy, Life of the Party, that comes out on the 11th. This movie is your typical adult vs college life comedy. If you enjoy movies like Neighbors, Neighbors 2, 21 Jump St., and other films like it then this one will be your cup of tea.
McCarthy plays a housewife named, Deanna, who suddenly gets dumped by her husband after spending years together and having their daughter off in college. Since she was a house wife, Deanna never finished getting her college degree. So instead of mopping around Deanna decides to change this fact. The down side? It’s the same college and classes her daughter is taking.
Of course, this doesn’t thrill the daughter at all. Why would it? I mean you go to college to get a degree, but you also go to finally have the freedom to grew and experience new things without your guardians hovering over you. Deanna however, is thrilled to be there. She’s ready to enjoy her new life, her new experiences, she adopts the name Dee-rock, and decides to get interested in some of the frat boys as well. This film is rated PG-13 and will sure to be an enjoyable comedy that will earn some good laughs. Love you Fem readers ‘til next time.
