Why do we all differ? Why do we have distinctive behavior apart from one another along with unique personalities? We can easily accredit the Maker of creation without question. However, we as “createes” still search for explanation for reason about our existence and mysterious behavior despite if we were made to “just be.” While seeking for answers we definitely will not find them all, but there are some interesting and fantastic ideas that may unfold the mystery (ies).
Take for instance, astrology. Astrology is amazingly fun to explore with its wide spectrum of countless ways that attribute to the ways that we behave according to our birthdays and the planets and galaxies that influence us. As entertaining as it is to read our horoscope(s) in newspapers, magazines, and social media articles, it is also fun to compare our zodiac sign to others; they differentiate us while at the same time make us similar. For many, astrology predictions and findings are a part of their daily routine and a guide to life in order to comprehend forecasted events such as relationships, careers, finance, etc. – general assistance with informative insight.
Whether astrology is true or not according to its findings it is often dismissed as a fluke without any truth according to many, and conflicts with religion as being ungodly or “evil.” But, research has brought to light that astrology once played a significant part in religion and was not considered as secular, but instead accepted. The Greeks found astrology to be macrocosmic, (a representation of the larger part of the universal structure) which influenced the microcosmic forces (a representation of the smaller universal structure) or us – mankind in this case. Validity of astrology once existed and was accepted as being holy and a determinant for understanding human behavior influenced by the cosmos.
Now, astrology has taken a turn in regards to this belief or thought, so who is to say that it just may be some fictitious information for fun. Maybe the Greeks in the beginning were right. The world is constantly changing and moving just as we are everyday. Hence, if we are controlled with the forces of the universe, then let us refer to the universal movement of the stars and planets that are included. Rather than discredit astrology we can embrace its purpose with its relationship to personalities and behavior. It may help explain why we are they way we are, and then we can wonder less while have logic unfolded before us that give us reason to answer who we are. Embrace your sign.
