Exciting news for rock fans out there. The headers for the Inaugural Sonic Arts + Music Festival have been announced for the 2019 show. The headers are the bands Disturbed, System Of A Down, and Foo Fighters. This festival replaces the historic Rock On The Range festival that ended in 2017 and began in 2007. The tickets for this rock fest have sold out for the past 12 years and the new festival will take place at the MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio on May 17th to the 19th.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday at noon and prices for the tickets and parking are available on this website. Not only is the festival dedicated to rock music and its fans, but it’s also dedicated to local Columbus food and beverages that can be enjoyed during the concerts. Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents is excited to be continuing the Rock On The Range Festival in a new way and states that this festival will be like a temple of rock and roll where fans gather to worship the genre of rock. Band members of Disturbed and System Of A Down are also looking forward to the festival and are honored to be heading the show. Other artists are also listed on the previously mentioned website.
