The summer is just getting into full effect and so are the great summer activities. Next will be the start of the Firefly Music Festival located in Dover, Delaware. The festival will begin on June 14 and will continue until that Sunday. This 4 days festival gives you everything you need all in one, including the option of deck out campers. The festival will showcase some case some great artist in a wide variety of genres and will have lots of things to do in the midst of the performances.
As you wander through the big camping party, you’ll stumble upon some great destinations to enjoy. One would be The Coffee House that will be located their which will provide some great caffeinated drinks and intimate performances from a few artist. If you’re looking to get some keepsakes or souvenirs to take home to the family you can head to The Market. This little venture on the campgrounds will feature handmade items that will hold memories of you time there. There will also be cool hangouts such as The Thicket, where you you can let the electricity of the crowd take over you. The Nook, formerly known as the hammock hangout. You could even take a relaxing stroll through The Pathway to wind down the night.
The festival will feature a great line up for the four day festival. No worries, if your favorite artist is performing and you don’t wanna miss is at home, you’ll be able to follow the live feed. Thursday will definitely get things into high spirits with performances from Two Friends, Jax Jones, and The Spencer Lee Band. Friday keeps the vibes going with performances for artist such as Logic, Foster the People, Jimmy Eat World, and even Lil Xan. Saturday will feature artist such as Eminem, Rag N Bone Man, PNB Rock, and also Lil Wayne. Sunday will end things with a mellow bang with artist such as Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Alice Merton, and others.
For those in the Delaware area you should definitely be sure to get your tickets soon for the festival. For those who already have their tickets, about doing a little more and donate to one of the fundraisers that will be sponsored by the Firefly Music Festival. St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital is still taking donations for their “Music Gives To St. Jude Kids”’fundraiser. The Code Purple Project will also be collecting all discarded camping material after the festival to donate to the many homeless Americans in Kent County, Delaware. This festival will have everything you need to feel good.
