“Food is the living spirit to the soul and body, but overindulgence and a poor diet can destroy them both.”
Like anything else, eating brings joy to us because of its many decadent flavors and tastes that satisfy our palettes in several ways. Besides the savory and tasty foods that fulfill our appetites, there is so much more to food. It has an essential purpose – to sustain life. Eating to live is more than important; it is a vital factor for our health. When we make smart choices about our food consumption, then we reap many benefits such as good health and beauty. Healthy choices produce healthy results.
We must be cognizant of what we decide to consume and decide on a healthy tasty diet. For many, tasty unhealthy dishes may be more preferable than nutritional foods, but when we adhere to eating unhealthy foods, only because they taste good, they can be detrimental. On the other hand, choosing dishes such as vegetables, nuts, fruits, fish, and grains as a large part of our diet, and refraining from 2lb. cheeseburgers (daily), French fries, sugar, starch and salt, chances are we most likely will be graced with the longevity of life.
For most, healthy foods maintain our shape, prevent weight gain, and when necessary lose weight. For example, eating plenty of green vegetables can aid in weight loss. Also, they can contribute to having smooth healthy-looking skin due to a large amount of water they contain. Augmentation of energy is also a benefactor.
“Beauty starts from within, not from the outside, so what you choose to consume in your body choose it wisely so that you remain beautiful all over.”
The benefits of wise choices can make our ears hear joy, especially with potassium. The mineral of the earth is found in many foods such as bananas. It helps with regulating the fluid in the body tissue, which is associated with fluid in the inner ear so that we can hear. Say what? Folic acid also is significant in helping with the slowing down the process of hearing. It helps with circulating the blood through the inner ear so that the cells work properly. Foods containing folic acid are avocado, asparagus, and okra. So, let us eat in musical harmony.
Lastly, let us enjoy the rest. Let us partake in a rich diet for our vision by eating kale, eggs, spinach and citrus fruits. Then, we can see and choose what is good for us while taste and excite the rest of our sensory senses sensibly. Now, we can really reap the benefits as happiness lies beneath. Furthermore, if we take the time to appreciate the earth’s essential foods, they will take care of us; therefore we should always eat to live and not live to eat.
“Food lies within the earth where life also lies and through its fruit life continues.”
Eat and enjoy the fruit of the earth.
