Hey readers and welcome back to my Deadpool blog part two. Let’s pick up where I left off shall we? If you would like to read my previous blog post it will be posted from an earlier time on this website. Also, just to recap, in the first blog I discuss the Deadpool sequel and give you guys some of Wade Wilson’s origin story. Hope you guys enjoy and we’ll get started on part two of my blog. All right in my previous blog I discussed how Wade ends up as a test subject in Weapon X.
While there he’s tortured for months but bares through it by being a sarcastic smart-mouth. The last thing they try to unlock his mutant gene is being left in a containment unit for a whole weekend without oxygen. This did unlock his mutation, but it left him with horribly painful skin. In a way his cancer went to his skin and became severe skin cancer that’s permanent despite his healing factor. The amount of torture he went through also made him go very insane, not Joker insane mind you, but still pretty bad. Kind of Harley Queen insane if you know anything about D.C. (In short, she’s the one that wears a red and black jester suit, or you know her as the blonde in pigtails). After that Wade is left the way he is and after getting his revenge his basically becomes an anti-hero. Now the X-Men tolerate him in the MCU but still haven’t allowed him to join the team like in certain comic book timelines. They also keep an eye on him since he does tiptoe on the tightrope of good and evil. He’s not evil, he’s just psychotic.
I’m looking forward to seeing it coming out this May. I’ll be excited for all the fourth wall breaks, the action sequences, and the crossover references about Josh Brolin. Some really funny ones will be the Goonies references. In fact, in the third trailer you can spot Wade wearing the same Hawaiian shirt that Chunk wore in the film. Anyway hope you guys are doing well and I’ll see you for the next blog!
